Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc.

Families of Offenders and Compulsive Users of Sex

What is F.O.C.U.S.?
F.O.C.U.S. is a psycho-educational support group for parents, adult family members, and partners of people with deviant sexual behavior. Deviant sexual behavior includes voyeurism, exhibitionism, other sexual offenses, and Compulsive Computer Pornography Behavior, of CCPB. The goal of the program is to provide support, facilitate communication and increase awareness through education.

The content of the program parallels the information taught to clients and offenders in treatment for sexually deviant behavior. This enables the family to better understand the importance of the application of concepts taught in the group to real life situations in order to affect positive change in behavior patterns.

Facilitators hold a Master's degree or above in the field of counseling or marriage and family therapy. All are trained in the concepts of treatment of sexually deviant behaviors and the Relapse Prevention model.
