What is Anger Management Group? Fee for Services
When anger is poorly managed the consequences can be wide spread. Family, friends, and even careers are often negatively affected by the results of uncontrolled anger. Improperly managed anger, whether it is held in or expressed in harmful ways, leads many people down a road of destruction.
The Anger Management group is a 15 week group that was created in response to a need voiced by those who wish to learn to effectively cope with, and better understand, their anger. The goal of the program is to provide support through a group setting, facilitate communication and increase awareness of thoughts and emotions through education.
Facilitators hold a Master's degree or above in the field of counseling or marriage and family therapy. All are trained in the concepts of treatment and the Relapse Prevention model.
Any individual 9-17 years of age may attend the juvenile anger management group. A separate group is also available for adults ages 18 and over. We also offer a spanish anger management group for spanish speaking adults. Individual sessions are also offered for those seeking additional support.
