Soldiers and Loved ones Unite To Empower

Military families face many unique challenges that other families may not encounter. The transient nature of the military in general, and deployment in particular, creates heightened stress and difficult situations with which family members must learn to cope. The S.A.L.U.T.E. group was created in response to a need voiced by military  personnel and their spouses. The goal of the program is to provide supoprt, facilitate communication, and increase awareness through education.

Facilitators hold a Master's level degree or above in the field of counseling or marriage and family therapy and have additional training experience with issues relating to military culture. Material discussed in the group remains confidential within the group setting.
